Crochet Pattern: Kupla Bag (by Johanna Nuorela)

The crocheted Kupla Set contains a tube scarf, headband, and a bag which transforms into a toiletry bag if the strap is left out.

The pattern for the Kupla bag was previously published in Beloved Patterns & Aarikka knitting magazine, where the inspiration came from Aarikka's jewelry, textiles, and home decor items.

Finished measurements: width: 25 cm / 10˝, height: 13 cm / 5.25˝, depth: 14 cm / 5.5˝

Yarn:

DROPS Design Muskat (100 % cotton, 100 m (109 yds) / 50 g). Color: 08 Off-white, 5 balls.

Crochet hook:

3.5 mm / E/4. Or size to obtain gauge.

Gauge:

20 sts × 22 rnds: 10 × 10 cm / 4 × 4˝.

Notions:

Scissors and darning needle for weaving in ends, 2 removable stitch markers, zipper 35 cm / 14˝, lining fabric.

Supplies for a bag: Shoulder strap and two D-rings, about 12 cm / 4.75˝ of cotton tape or other non-stretchy tape, width about 1.5 cm / 0.5˝.
