The striking hood and sweater are worked with slipped stitches, using the Mosaic technique, where one works with only one color at a time.

Yarn:

Wetterhoff Wanja (100 % Finnish wool, 100 m (109 yds) / 50 g)

MC: Dark red 1269: 2 (2, 2) balls or 130 (150, 170) m / 140 (160, 190) yds

CC1: Dusty pink 1226: 2 (2, 2) balls or 150 (170, 190) m / 160 (190, 210) yds

CC2: White 1146: 2 (2, 2) balls or 130 (150, 170) m / 140 (160, 190) yds

Needles:

3.5 mm and 4 mm / US 4 and US 6, 60 cm / 24˝ circular needle.

Gauge:

23 sts × 30 rnds = 10 × 10 cm / 4 × 4˝ over Mosaic Pattern, after finishing.

Use the chart for Palloni Mun Pullover, p. 40. Mosaic pattern of the hood: The pattern is repeated while at the same time striping with three or more colors, working with one color at a time. You can carry the rest of the yarns across from one round to the other to avoid weaving in a lot of yarn ends.
