The Hiutale mittens pattern was first published in the Beloved Patterns & Erik Bruun knitting magazine, inspired by Finnish graphic designer Erik Bruun’s iconic posters.

CC: Natural white, 1 skein or 100 m / 109 yds
Needles:
DPNs 3 mm / US 2.5 and 3.25 mm / US 3. Or size to obtain gauge.
Gauge:
26 sts × 29 rnds = 10 × 10 cm / 4 × 4” over colorwork pattern using 3.25 mm / US 3 needles, after blocking.
Notions:
Removable stitch marker, waste yarn, darning needle for weaving in the ends.
