The cardigan is worked in the round from the bottom up and the front is steeked and cut open. The ball-like buttons crown the pattern.
The pattern for the Ilona cardigan was previously published in Beloved Patterns & Aarikka knitting magazine, where the inspiration came from Aarikka's jewelry, textiles, and home decor items.
