The sweater with a colorwork yoke is worked seamlessly from the top down. The back neck is raised using short rows for a perfect fit.

The pattern for the Pioni sweater was previously published in Beloved Patterns & Pentik knitting magazine, where the inspiration came from Pentik's decorative textiles and ceramics.

General information:

This sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down. The work is begun by casting on the neckline stitches and the neckline ribbing is worked. Next, you work the colorwork section and then a few short rows to raise the back neck. The sleeve stitches are placed on hold for working the body, and then the sleeves. You can work the sleeves with double-pointed needles or using the Magic Loop technique.
