Mittens are worked from the cuff to the top, and they have an afterthought thumb. The back features an easy colorwork pattern and the top is worked with contrasting color.

The pattern for the Sunnuntaiaamu mittens was previously published in Beloved Patterns & Birger Kaipiainen knitting magazine, where the inspiration came from Birger Kaipiainen’s iconic ceramic designs.
