The braided cardigan is knitted top-down. The yoke and sleeves are formed with raglan increases.

The pattern for the Kajsa cable knit cardigan is published in the Saariston neuleet knitting magazine, where the Finnish archipelago and seascape served as inspiration.

Needles: 4 mm and 3.5 mm / 80–100 cm circular needles and double-pointed needles

Other notions: 8 stitch markers, 2 approx. 1m stitch cables or scrap yarn, darning needle, and 4 (4, 4, 5, 5) (5, 6, 6, 6) approx. 2 cm buttons.

Gauge:

21 sts and 31 rows = 10 cm in stockinette stitch with 4 mm needles.
