Downloadable pattern: Puro skirt (designer Hannemari Lehtonen)

This playful skirt gets its shape from increases made below the waistband. The skirt is knitted from the waist down.

The pattern for the Puro skirt was published in the Rakkaat kuviot & Vuokko magazine, which was inspired by Vuokko's stunning timeless patterns.

Waist: (70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95) (100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 125) (130, 135, 140, 145, 150) cm.

Guide for choosing a size: Measure the widest part of your waist and choose your size accordingly.
There is no recommended ease for this.

Finished garment measurements:

Waist-hip-seat 70–150 cm.

Hem length 45 cm or desired length.

Materials:

Yarn: Sandnes Garn DUO (55% merino, 45% cotton, 115 m / 50 g)

MC (1002 off-white):
1–5: 3 balls / 150 meters
6–11: 4 balls / 200 meters
12–17: 5 balls / 250 meters

CC1 (4236 red):
1–5: 2 balls / 100 meters
6–11: 2 balls / 100 meters
12–17: 3 balls / 150 meters

CC2 (5575 marine):
1–5: 2 balls / 100 meters
6–11: 2 balls / 100 meters
12–17: 3 balls / 150 meters

Needles: 3 mm double-pointed needles and 4.5/5 mm 80/100 cm circular needles.

Other materials: 2.5 cm wide elastic band for your waist circumference, stitch marker, scrap yarn for holding stitches, tapestry needle, sewing thread, and a crochet hook.

Gauge:

18 sts and 22 rows = 10 cm in stockinette stitch in the round.
