The Gardener's thin stranded colourwork mitts are knitted in stranded colourwork from thin yarn. They bring warmth in spring and autumn, but leave your fingers nicely free.

Pattern information:

Size:

One size. Circumference 20 cm, length 20 cm.

Materials: 

Yarn: Nurja Merino Sock (75% merino, 25% polyamide, 420 m/100 g) and Louhittaren Luola Väinämöinen (75% wool, 25% nylon, 400 m/100 g), or other fingering weight yarn. In the pictures, colours Peridootti (C1), usage 135 m and Valkoinen (C2), usage 90 m.

Needles: 2.25 mm – 100 cm circular needle or double-pointed needles. Adjust needle size if necessary to achieve correct gauge.

Other materials: 1 stitch marker, tapestry needle.

Gauge:

Knitting gauge: 16 sts x 19 rounds = 5 x 5 cm of stranded colourwork in the round
