The Keisarinna vest is knitted bottom-up in the round. Its front is adorned with a jewel-like cable pattern.

Yarn: The garment is knitted with two strands held together:

Vuonue Wilhelmi worsted yarn (70% Finnish sheep wool, 30% Tencel, 400 m / 100 g). You will need 2 (2, 3, 3, 3) (4, 4, 5, 5) skeins or 205 (230, 250, 275, 300) (350, 390, 420, 450) g / 820 (910, 1000, 1100, 1200) (1400, 1550, 1660, 1800) m. Colour: light grey.

Sandnes Garn Tynn Silk Mohair (57% mohair, 28% silk, 15% wool,
212 m / 25 g). You will need 4 (4, 5, 5, 6) (7, 7, 8, 9) balls or approx. 100 (100, 125, 125, 150) (175, 175, 200, 225) g / 820 (900, 1000, 1100, 1200) (1400, 1550, 1650, 1800) m. Colour: 1199 Salt'n Pepper Tweed.

Needles: 3.5 mm and 4 mm 80–100 cm circular needles

Other materials: Removable stitch markers, cable needle, tapestry needle for finishing, waste yarn or cables for shoulder stitches.

Gauge:

20 sts × 28 rows = 10 × 10 cm in stockinette stitch with larger 4 mm needles. The width of the 36-stitch cable and bobble pattern is approx. 13 cm (after blocking).
