Knitting Pattern: Alba Sweater (by Heli Hottinen-Puukko)
The sweater has a relaxed fit and a rounded, ball-like shape. The texture is created with knit and purl stitches.
The Alba sweater pattern was first published in the Archipelago Knitting magazine, inspired by the Finnish archipelago and seascape.

Needles:
5 mm / US 8, 40 cm /16 “ circular needle for sleeves and 80–100 cm / 32–40” circular needle for body, 3 mm / US 2.5, 80–100 cm / 32–40” circular needle for hem ribbing, 3 mm / US 2.5 DPNs for cuffs (unless you use the magic loop technique)
Gauge:
18 sts and 26 rows/rnds = 10 × 10 cm / 4 × 4” over textured pattern using larger needles, after blocking.
Notions:
1 ring marker, 4 removable stitch markers, waste yarn or stitch cords, darning needle.
