Warmth, color, and classics of Finnish design – these five knitting patterns have made their way onto knitters' needles this autumn.
Winter Magic
It's no wonder Saaga socks are so popular – long wool socks and Pentik's beloved reindeer pattern combine in Mia Sumell's pattern to create the perfect cold-weather sock choice. Inspired by the atmosphere of the North, these socks are sized for feet measuring 38–39, with a calf circumference of 32 centimeters.
The reindeer wandering on Saaga-patterned socks bring to mind the landscapes of Lapland. The socks are knitted from the cuff to the toe.
The pattern for the Saaga socks was published in the Rakkaat kuviot & Pentik magazine, where Pentik's interior textiles and ceramics served as inspiration.
