Digital Magazine: Beloved Patterns & Aarikka (ENG)

Beloved Patterns & Aarikka is a stunning knitting magazine inspired by Aarikka’s diverse collection of jewellery and home décor. The 124-page magazine features 21 unique, previously unpublished knitting patterns. You’ll also find an article exploring the story and design heritage of Aarikka.

The patterns have been created by leading Finnish knitwear designers and international talents: Aleks Byrd, Jennifer Brou, Anna Tanskanen, Mia Sumell, Heli Hottinen-Puukko, Hannemari Lehtonen, Veera Jussila, Johanna Nuorela, Maria Kostamovaara, Tiina Kaarela, and Tiia Reho. The patterns range in difficulty from easy to challenging.

The collection includes beautiful stranded colourwork socks, sweaters, a cardigan, a vest, hats, scarves and cowls, mittens, and bags.

The patterns come in a wide range of sizes, offering designs for many different body types. Sock sizes can also be adjusted by changing the needle size.

The designs feature yarns from Novita, Vuonue, Tukuwool, Opal, Wetterhoff, and Sandnes Garn, among others. The yarns have been selected with good availability and versatility in mind.
