These long socks are knitted cuff-down. The tight ribbing is knitted with twisted stitches.

The pattern for the Kaaret socks was published in the Rakkaat kuviot & Erik Bruun knitting magazine, inspired by Erik Bruun's iconic posters.

Cuff height: 33 cm

Foot length can be easily adjusted.

Materials:

Yarn: Markus Company 6-ply (75% wool, 25% polyamide, 125 m / 50 g)

MC: 19–4002 Black Onyx 3 balls or 312 m

CC: 17–6153 Fern Green 2 balls or 156 m

Needles: 3 mm double-pointed needles for colorwork and 2.5 mm double-pointed needles for ribbing and heel.

Other materials: Tapestry needle.

Gauge:

27 sts and 29 rows = 10 × 10 cm in colorwork, knitted in the round.
