Susanna Kaartinen's rectangular scarf is made with various textured stitches. The pattern, formed by knit and purl stitches, and the cables alternate rhythmically.
Pattern Information:
Size:
One size. Length 200 cm, width 40 cm.
Materials:
Yarn: Aara Lauha (90 % merino wool, 10 % linen, 366 m / 100 g) or other fingering weight yarn. 4 skeins or 1200 m. Color in pictures: Amfora.
Needles: 3.5 mm – 80 cm circular needle or straight needles. Choose needle size to achieve correct gauge.
Other materials: 12 stitch markers: two different designs or colors (6+6).
Gauge:
25 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm in Background pattern 2 horizontal stripe knit in flat knitting (after wet blocking).
