The Vilja bread basket is crocheted using the mosaic crochet technique.

The pattern for the Vilja bread basket was published in Rakkaat kuviot & Pentik magazine, where the inspiration came from Pentik's interior textiles and ceramics.

Pattern details:

Size:

Finished basket dimensions: approx. 17 cm × 17 cm, height 8 cm.

Materials: 

Yarn: Novita Cotton Feel (100% cotton, 120 m / 50 g)

MC: Soot (099) 3 skeins, the bottom of the basket is crocheted with MC

CC: Natural white (010) 1 skein

Crochet hook: 3 mm and 4 mm or according to your gauge

Other materials: darning needle for finishing

Gauge:

23 stitches × 24 rows = 10 × 10 cm in mosaic crochet, 18 stitches × 18 rows = 10 × 10 cm in single crochet for the basket
